Kevin Thomas brings nearly three decades of invaluable experience to the refrigeration industry. His journey began at a consulting/engineering firm where he honed his skills in preparing plans, specifications, and compliance services. Transitioning to RD&S in 2001 marked a pivotal milestone, where Kevin’s expertise flourished in the realm of design/build industrial refrigeration systems. His proficiency extends across diverse sectors, including food and beverage processing, cold storage facilities, and pharmaceutical plants.

At the helm of a talented team comprising of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers, Kevin orchestrates the execution of intricate projects. His leadership is characterized by a profound understanding of engineering principles and a keen eye for innovation. Under his guidance, the team excels in fabricating skids and delivering cutting-edge solutions to clients.

In addition to his extensive contributions within the refrigeration industry, Kevin assumes a pivotal role as the leader of Kelvin’s National Engineering Governance. In this capacity, he sets the standard for excellence and compliance across a broad spectrum of engineering endeavors. Kevin’s academic foundation is rooted in a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. His commitment to excellence is further underscored by his licensure as a Professional Engineer across multiple states. Additionally, Kevin is a member of the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR), where he actively contributes to the advancement of industry standards and practices.
